Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Transportation Associate to move patients and equipment between departments within the Medical Center. You will ensure safe transport using proper body mechanics and PPE.

You will train new co-workers on the transport process and use Epic software to track patient and equipment location throughout the facility. Mercy emphasizes teamwork, safety, and compassionate care across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Transports patients between departments within the Medical Center.
• Trains new co-workers on all aspects of the Transport process.
• Understands and applies Mercy Service Standards and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients and equipment to and from various departments within the Medical Center.
• Trains new co-workers on all aspects of the Transport process.
• Uses Epic software to track each patient's location as they travel to and from designated areas throughout the facility.
• Uses Epic software to track patient and equipment movement throughout the facility.
• Performs duties in alignment with Mercy mission and values and Mercy Service Standards.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
