Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Patient Transporter to move patients and equipment between departments within the Medical Center. You will use Epic to track patient locations and equipment movement, and perform related patient care activities as assigned.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and at least two years of customer service experience. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Two years customer service experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; BLS certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients and equipment between departments.
• Maintains safe body mechanics and PAR levels for equipment.
• Uses Epic software to track patient location and equipment movement.
