Job summary

Mercy is seeking a transporter to move patients and equipment across the Medical Center, while ensuring safety and proper body mechanics. The role includes training new coworkers on the transport process and using Epic to track movements.

Minimum requirements include at least one year of transporting experience, two years in customer service, and a BLS CPR/AED certification. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year transporting experience.
• Two years customer service experience.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) certification.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and equipment within Mercy facilities.
• Train new co-workers on transport procedures and Epic usage.
• Use Epic to track patient and equipment movement.
• Ensure safety and proper body mechanics during transport.
• Wear PPE as required.
