Job summary

HHS is seeking a Patient Transport Dispatcher for Clearlake Regional Medical. The role offers full-time and part-time positions with day/evening/night shifts. Pay is $14 per hour, with eligibility for benefits and a focus on prompt, professional communication in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and work well in a team.
• GED or high school diploma required.
• Ability to perform calmly and quickly in emergencies.
• Preferred: PBX and customer service experience, hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Answer multiple incoming telephone lines, obtain necessary information, and transfer calls to correct extensions.
• Correct and update posted information and assist with upkeep of directories and on-call lists.
• Learn and use the PBX phone system, headsets, telephones, and related equipment.
• Perform overhead paging and monitor PBX alarms, notifying appropriate personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and security of the PBX area.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and organizational data; release of information per privacy policies.
• Respond promptly, accurately, and calmly to disaster and emergency situations.
• Orient and train new team members.
