Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Dispatcher to manage routing for regional deliveries, coordinate with operations staff, and document patient communications. The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and customer care in a healthcare setting.

You will work to maintain routes, verify orders, and support delivery teams while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The position requires attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year health-care admin, customer service, claims, billing or related experience.
• Senior level requires 2 years of related experience and 1 year of exact job experience.
• Experience in Medicare-certified HME, diabetic or home medical supplies environment is preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license in state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Route basic tickets for deliveries and pickups; build sensible routes for technicians.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with operations to meet timeliness goals.
• Maintain knowledge of HME products and regulations.
• Verify order details and resolve ticket issues with stakeholders.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient information and compliance with safety protocols.
• Communicate with customers and technicians to schedule and route deliveries.
