Responsibilities

• Collaborates with hospital staff to coordinate patient transport for SEIRMC and HCHC.
• Plans and directs transport requests to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Coordinates with referring facilities to schedule transfer services.
• Uses geography to analyze transport times and estimate arrivals.
• Interacts professionally with physicians, staff, and leaders during transfers.
• Operates computers, software, and multi-line phone system.
• Ensures provision of optimal transportation services to patients and agencies.
• Reviews and analyzes documentation for potential improvements.
• Adapts to staff and customers to communicate effectively.
• Timely follow-up on all cases.
• Manages multiple tasks to prioritize transfers and billing reviews.
