Towne Park is seeking an Internal Patient Transporter to provide exceptional hospitality and transport patients within the hospital environment by wheelchair, stretcher or bed. This non-clinical role requires a friendly, attentive demeanor and a commitment to patient safety during transfers.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, explaining procedures, coordinating with clinical staff, and ensuring accurate handoffs.

Qualifikationen

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and write standard English.
• Ability to explain procedures and communicate with clinical staff.
• Must demonstrate professional demeanor with patients and staff.
• Able to perform basic math and timekeeping tasks.

Aufgaben

• Maintain pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with patients, staff and coworkers.
• Greet patients within 30 seconds and use patient last name when appropriate.
• Explain procedures prior to transport and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Communicate patient needs to clinical staff and perform handoffs.
• Escort visitors and provide wayfinding services as needed.
• Use patient transport tracking system and manage equipment as requested.
• Present rooms effectively and be knowledgeable about local facilities and services.
