Job summary

Enloe Health is seeking a Transfer Services Specialist to join the Utilization Management team. You will coordinate patient transfers, work with multiple departments, and ensure safe, efficient handoffs.

The role requires data handling, confidentiality, and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Key tasks include supporting the Director with administrative duties, onboarding, meetings, and reporting, while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered approach in line with

Qualifications

• Two years' experience with computers (databases, spreadsheets, MS Office) or an Associate degree in a health-related field.
• Experience in case or utilization management is preferred.
• Medical back office experience including insurance and billing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient transfers into and outside Enloe Health with the UM team.
• Work with ED, Case Management, Patient Financial Services, EMS, Payors and transfer services.
• Provide administrative support to the Director and Supervisor of Transfer Services.
• Record-keeping, onboarding support, meeting attendance, supply orders and data reporting.
