Job summary

Providence California Regional Services is seeking a Patient Placement Center Specialist to support care by coordinating the patient intake process and managing transfers across Southern, Northern, and Behavioral Health California Transfer Centers.

You will answer and triage calls, verify eligibility, ensure accurate documentation, and collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve high-priority cases, contributing to Providence's commitment to patient-focused, whole-person care.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 1-3 years of healthcare related experience.
• 1 year Customer Service experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient intake process and coordinate timely patient transfers.
• Answer and triage calls and verify eligibility.
• Facilitate inbound and outbound transfers and ensure accurate documentation.
• Work with internal and external partners to resolve complex, high-priority cases.
