Job summary

Antelope Valley Medical Center seeks a Patient Resource Coordinator to lead clinical and operational efforts, focusing on patient movement, throughput, and high-quality, cost-effective care. You will supervise day-to-day nursing operations and allocate personnel to meet unit needs while adhering to policies and regulatory requirements.

Expect collaboration with the Nursing Director/Manager, focus on process improvements, staff development, and ensuring appropriate bed utilization and patient

Qualifications

• RN licensed in California; current California RN license.
• 3 years of acute hospital experience required.
• Graduate of accredited nursing program required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate day-to-day operations and delivery of patient care services including staffing, patient throughput, and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with throughput team to manage patient flow and bed utilization.
• Monitor compliance with Nursing Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Provide leadership and supervision of nursing staff and unit operations.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and bed utilization in collaboration with nursing leadership.
