Job summary

Banner Wyoming Medical Center is seeking an Operations Logistics Coordinator to coordinate internal patient movement, bed assignments, transfers, and discharges across facilities. This PRN, varied-shift role requires strong communication and hospital workflow understanding.

The successful candidate will work with care teams, house supervisors, and throughput staff, manage multiple computer systems, and help maintain smooth patient flow and utilization of beds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience with hospital throughput or patient placement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate bed assignments and patient placement across facilities.
• Enter bed assignments into bed placement software and update orders as needed.
• Communicate with stakeholders and resolve discrepancies in real time.
• Generate and distribute throughput reports to support bed management and operations.
• Collaborate with house supervisors to implement throughput plans and surge management.
