The position emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered care, and adherence to confidentiality, with opportunities to contribute to office efficiency across multiple locations in the state.

Qualifications

• Sound communication skills and friendly demeanor.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Experience with insurance guidelines and insurance entry.
• Experience in financial collections is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients, answering phones, check-in/registration/check-out, insurance verification, scheduling, and chart preparation.
• Maintain professional communication with staff and providers regarding patient needs.
• Welcoming patients and visitors in person or by phone and assisting inquiries.
• Schedule appointments to optimize patient satisfaction and provider time.
• Notify providers of arrivals, monitor schedule adherence, and address delays.
• Support patient comfort, answer questions, and maintain reception area.
• Maintain patient records, accounts, and personal/financial information.
• Monitor inventory and ordering of supplies; coordinate equipment service.
• Assist patients in distress and protect patient confidentiality.
• Follow policies, report changes, and contribute to team goals.
