Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care in the United States is seeking a Medical Assistant to be the first point of contact for patient care, reporting to the Associate Operations Director. You will perform a mix of administrative and clinical duties onsite, including vital signs, vaccines, phlebotomy, and helping with exams.

You will collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers, document in the electronic medical records system, and follow standard procedures while prioritizing patient

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms, obtain vital signs, administer medications and vaccines.
• Perform phlebotomy, collect specimens, and conduct diagnostic screening tests.
• Sterilize equipment, maintain examination rooms, and document in EMR.
• Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
• Deliver direct patient care within active certification.
