You will work under supervision, interact professionally with clients and staff, and follow established procedures to maintain specimen integrity and comply with regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Phlebotomist Certification is preferred (Required in Louisiana).

Responsabilités

• Greets customers and treats all clients with courtesy.
• Collects specimens according to established procedures and explains venipuncture clearly.
• Disposes of blood or biohazard materials per laws and policies.
• Completes requisitions in PathConnect and other PathGroup systems.
• Enters patient, specimen, insurance, or billing information with high accuracy.
• Maintains PSC/IOPST logs and daily records; assists with monthly statistics.
