PathGroup in Chattanooga is seeking a Patient Services Technician to support the PSC and in-office operations. You will perform specimen collection, processing, and data entry with care and professionalism, while interacting with clients and patients daily.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, adherence to safety protocols, and courteous communication to maintain service quality and patient comfort.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED; phlebotomy certification preferred (Louisiana requirement noted).
• 1+ year of related experience preferred.
• Familiar with basic clerical duties and data entry.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers professionally and ensure courteous service.
• Collect venipuncture specimens accurately and on time.
• Explain collection procedures clearly to patients and reduce anxiety.
• Enter patient and billing information into computer systems with accuracy.
• Label, centrifuge, and prepare specimens for transport per protocols.
• Maintain records and logs for PSC/IOPST activities.
• Perform basic clerical tasks such as filing, faxing and mail preparation.
• Adhere to PPE, safety policies, and privacy/security guidelines.
