Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in food service operations.
• SERV Safe Certification (required within 90 days of hire)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily patient service activities to ensure timely, accurate, and patient-centered service delivery.
• Coordinate daily workflows, assignments, and schedules to ensure adequate staffing and coverage.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, sanitation, infection control, and quality standards within assigned areas.
• Monitor compliance with workplace safety requirements and report hazards or incidents promptly. Assist with maintaining required documentation, logs, audit tools, and reports.
• Provide day-to-day supervision of patient services employees, including task assignment and workflow direction.
• Train and orient new employees; provide on-the-job coaching and reinforcement of core competencies.
• Monitor employee performance and provide feedback; ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of equipment and spaces.
• Communicate service or equipment issues that may impact patient care.
• Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical departments to support patient care needs.
