Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five years experience in facilities operations or custodial services.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Education may substitute for experience per university policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contact with the Manager of Custodial Operations to discuss needs.
• Conduct inspections to ensure services are provided as directed.
• Participate in the quality assurance program.
• Oversee proper use and care of equipment and supplies.
• Assist in developing guidelines for custodial standards.
• Coordinate and perform departmental responsibilities for events and setups.
• Supervise bargaining unit custodial staff in assigned buildings.
• Assist with personnel management including interviewing and discipline.
• Compute and document weekly work hours and monitor attendance.
• Provide training to employees individually and in groups.
• Foster an inclusive, respectful working environment.
