Job summary

University of Washington's Digestive Health Center – UW Medical Center – Montlake in Seattle seeks a Patient Services Specialist 2. The role focuses on efficient communications, patient scheduling, and accurate intake of demographics, financial, and clinical information.

You will work with the clinic team to ensure patient satisfaction and high-quality care, in a full-time, day-shift, on-site setting with no telework.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging
• Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments
• Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information
• Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery
• Other duties as requested
