Job summary

UW Medicine Primary Care at South Lake Union in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to support staff, providers, and patients with efficient communications, appointment scheduling, and data collection. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, in a day-shift schedule within the hospital system.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience.
• An equivalent combination of education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging
• Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments
• Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information
• Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery
• Other duties as requested
