Job summary

University of Washington Medicine Montlake is seeking a Patient Services Specialist Supervisor to lead the Health Unit Coordinator team, supervise staffing, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations on-site. The role emphasizes guest services to patients and colleagues and requires strong coordination across scheduling, payroll, and educational tracking systems.

The position is full-time, on-site, with a 100% FTE schedule and a focus on improving unit efficiency and patient experience within UW

Responsibilities

• Coordination and monitoring of staff, scheduling systems, payroll and timekeeping systems, educational tracking systems and other systems that support the Nurse Manager.
• Customer service to patients, staff and medical team members.
• Interviewing and recommending the selection of candidates.
• Ordering of unit supplies, equipment and facilities management.
• Take a proactive role in efficient operations of the unit.
• Responsible for the overall leadership and supervision of the Health Unit Coordinator and other assigned staff.
• Managing, collecting and reporting of unit data.
• Other assigned duties.
