• Registers patients by collecting and verifying insurance information and directing to waiting areas.
• Handles payments following guidelines and posts charges; generates daily payment reports.
• Responds to routine inquiries about services and hours; escalates as needed.
• Assists with medical records duties: pulling charts, transfers, and referrals.
• Mentors junior staff as requested.
