Women's Health Arizona is seeking a Patient Services Representative to manage patient check-in/check-out, schedule appointments, and verify insurance benefits. You will obtain pre-authorizations and assist with medical billing while maintaining exceptional patient service and accurate records.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a healthcare-administrative role, strong communication skills, and proficiency with EHR systems in a fast-paced office.

Formación

• 1–2 years of experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in healthcare.
• 1–2 years of experience with insurance verification, prior authorizations, benefits and basic medical billing/claims.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service and professional communication with patients, staff and visitors.
• Strong organizational skills; able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with computer software and EHR systems; knowledge of HIPAA regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Patient Check-In and Check-Out: greet patients and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Appointment Scheduling: manage appointments, referrals, and tests with provider availability.
• Insurance Verification and Authorization: verify coverage and obtain pre-authorizations as needed.
• Administrative Support: filing, faxing, scanning, and organizing medical records.
