Corewell Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative to support registration, concierge, and clerical services for patients. You will work with a team to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate scheduling of referrals, appointments, and tests.

The role requires a high level of attention to detail, experience with insurance processes, and proficiency with EMR/EHR systems. This on-site position offers a robust benefits package and standard daytime hours.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support or other related experience.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and manage high-level problem solving for patient experiences.
• Schedule appointments, referrals, in-office procedures, surgeries and tests, with medical record review.
• Obtain insurance authorizations or verify prior authorizations.
• Assist with EMR/EHR scanning, Right Fax, and uploading to EPIC.
• Support training of new team members and participate in safety initiatives.
