Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Patient Services Representative for the Southside Urology practice. The role handles patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and payments with accuracy and empathy.

You will be the first contact for patients, delivering high-quality service and coordinating with care teams to ensure smooth visits and records integrity, including MyChart assistance and referrals when required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Prior experience in patient registration/healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary point of contact between patients and physician practices.
• Greet patients and provide professional, courteous service.
• Schedule appointments and enter information into the computer system promptly.
• Verify insurance and collect patient liabilities and payments.
• Process admission paperwork and verify demographic and insurance details.
• Maintain accurate patient records and support referrals and authorizations as needed.
