Surecare Medical Center seeks a Medical Center Representative to handle clerical, receptionist, billing, referrals, patient registration and customer service in the center's business office. The role processes daily scheduling, incoming calls, patient registration, billing/collection, and other duties under the Practice Manager's supervision.

Requires strong medical terminology and HIPAA knowledge, with EMR systems experience (Epic preferred) and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years experience in ambulatory health care facility preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA law is essential.
• Knowledge of Third Party Payers, ICD-9 and CPT Coding is a plus.
• Computer and keyboarding skills required; EMR experience (Epic preferred).
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well with multiple teams and settings.
