Job summary

Premier Health is seeking a Medical Center Representative for Lifestages Centers for Women. The role covers clerical, receptionist, billing, referrals, patient registration and customer service within the medical center’s business office, handling high volumes of sensitive information daily.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 2–3 years in ambulatory health care, knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA, plus EMR experience (Epic preferred) and ICD-10/CPT familiarity.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA required.
• Experience with billing/registration and third-party payers a plus.
• EMR experience (Epic preferred) and ICD-10/CPT knowledge are advantageous.
• Strong multitasking and ability to work with multiple teams in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Handle clerical, receptionist, billing, referrals, patient registration and customer service for the medical center operations.
• Manage daily scheduling, incoming calls and patient flow for 20+ patients daily.
• Process billing/collection tasks and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Perform duties as assigned by Practice Manager.
