Job summary

Tenet Physician Resources is seeking a patient-centered front desk professional for a hybrid Shared Service Regional Call Center role in the Phoenix area. The position handles front-office tasks in a physician practice, greets patients, manages calls, schedules, and processes registrations and referrals.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of customer service experience in healthcare, a high school diploma/GED, and strong data entry skills.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience, preferably in a hospital or physician office.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior front desk or administrative experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients entering the practice and manage front-desk communications.
• Answer phones, confirm and reschedule patient appointments, and collect demographics.
• Check in patients, verify insurance, and enter data into the system.
• Check out patients, assist with referrals and scheduling, and collect co-pays.
• Post charges and ensure accurate patient balances; provide information about policies.
