Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greets patients entering the practice.
• Manages office communications, including answering phones, confirming and rescheduling appointments.
• Checks in patients, collects demographics, verifies insurance, and enters data into the electronic system.
• Checks out patients and assists with referral processing and scheduling.
• Collects co-pays and posts charges.
• Processes charge entry and patient balances.
• Distributes information regarding office policies and practice information.
• Explains the patient portal and assists with enrollment.
• Performs additional responsibilities as needed.
