Briarwood Primary Care, part of the Elliot Health System family, is seeking a Clerk to provide front desk and clerical support. The role includes greeting patients, registering them, handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, and processing charges in a patient-centered environment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Greets and registers patients; notifies medical staff of their arrival.
• Verifies current address and insurance status.
• Schedules referrals, hospital testing and lab work following procedures.
• Completes prior authorization of testing according to insurance requirements.
• Checks out patients and collects payments; schedules follow-up appointments.
• Maintains providers schedules and ensures efficient appointment flow.
• Suggests system improvements to enhance patient care and administrative efficiency.
