Job summary

Allegro Pediatrics is seeking a Patient Services Representative to serve as the first point of contact for patients and families. You will schedule appointments, verify demographics, and process insurance and payments in multiple Eastside clinics.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Travel to various clinics may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and working with families.
• Proficient with computers and multiple software programs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and good attendance.
• Willingness to travel to all Allegro clinics as staffing changes.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments using the Practice Management system.
• Verify demographics and check patients in/out in clinic.
• Troubleshoot appointment issues and account questions.
• Process, distribute, and scan correspondence and reports.
• Collect co-pays and post to accounts.
• Maintain confidentiality under HIPAA and protect patient information.
• Support front office, medical records, and back-office projects.
