Job summary

Allegro Pediatrics is seeking a Patient Services Representative to work with patients and families, providing exceptional service by phone and in person. The role requires full-time status with four 10-hour shifts and coverage across Eastside clinics.

Duties include scheduling, check-in/out, insurance validation, co-pay collection, and front/back-office support while maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced patient service environment.
• Ability to schedule appointments and manage front-desk duties.
• Must be able to travel to all clinics as staffing needs change.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments using the Practice Management system.
• When in clinic, check patients in/out and verify demographics using the Practice Management system.
• Troubleshoot issues with appointments or general account questions.
• Maintain knowledge of scheduling policies to help families find the best possible outcome.
• Verify and scan patient insurance and HIPAA forms.
• Collect co-pays and post to accounts.
• Work at Allegro’s Eastside Clinics as needed for coverage.
• Maintain knowledge of office equipment and devices.
• Process medical record releases per protocol.
• Process, distribute, and scan correspondence and reports.
• Take messages for physicians/nurses.
• Assist with front office, medical records and back office projects.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Keep updated on workflow and company communications.
• Complete all mandatory trainings.
