Job summary

NKC Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative to support front office operations at our Kansas City clinics. You will handle patient registration, verify eligibility, and communicate financial responsibilities with courtesy and accuracy.

In this role, you will collect co-pays, schedule follow-ups, and ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of records while delivering exceptional customer service to patients and families served by NKC Health.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in a physician’s office or healthcare setting.
• Customer service skills required.
• Basic office skills required.
• CPT and diagnosis coding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform front office duties with focus on customer service and billing accuracy.
• Complete patient registration and eligibility verification accurately and timely.
• Inform patients of co-pay/deductible responsibility and collect co-pays and balances.
• Schedule appointments efficiently to meet provider and patient expectations.
• Coordinate receipt and transfer of patient medical records in a HIPAA-compliant manner.
