Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients and visitors per office protocols.
• Register demographic and billing information and schedule appointments.
• Determine patient eligibility and assist with care coordination.
• Use EMR and other computer systems to complete tasks per policies.
• Maintain medical records and prepare charts, filings, and test results.
• Collect co-pays and deductibles; process self-pay balances as applicable.
• Prepare encounter forms and supporting billing documentation.
• Balance cash drawer and handle daily deposits.
