Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients and visitors according to office protocols.
• Register demographic and billing information and determine eligibility.
• Use EMR and computer applications to accomplish tasks per policy.
• Maintain medical records, prepare charts and test results.
• Post charges and payments to patient accounts and balance cash drawer daily.
• Schedule appointments and tests; coordinate referrals and provider schedules.
• Communicate delays to physicians and staff as appropriate.
