Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a part-time Patient Service Representative to join the SAMG Clerical Float Pool Team in the Treasure Valley region. The role involves front-desk check-in, payment collection, scheduling, and light administrative duties across clinics, with an emphasis on accurate information and compassionate patient care.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, effective communication, and familiarity with EPIC or similar electronic health record

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience required; healthcare experience a plus.
• Electronic health record (EPIC) experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients for appointments and collect co-pays.
• Answer phones and take accurate messages; schedule appointments.
• Verify insurance eligibility and update patient information in EPIC.
• Maintain a courteous, patient-focused service experience and effective communication with families.
