Forefront Dermatology in Seymour, IN is seeking a Patient Service Representative to manage front-desk duties, greet patients, verify insurance, and check in for appointments.

You will handle multi-line phone system, update personal and insurance information, scan documents into the EHR, and support scheduling and office operations in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of medical office experience preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer functions.
• Ability to learn new software quickly.
• Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills.
• Typing 40 wpm preferred.
• Attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Performs opening and closing clinic duties.
• Greets patients, checks in for appointments and verifies insurance.
• Scans documents into electronic health record.
• Maintains tidiness of waiting area and reception counter.
• Checks schedules for added, canceled and no-show appointments.
• Schedules follow up appointments as needed.
• Responds to designated tasks in the electronic health record.
• Orders clinic office supplies.
• Sells and tracks cosmetic products.
• Distributes mail.
• Prepares for next day scheduled appointments.
