Job summary

Barrow Brain and Spine in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, collect co-pays, answer phones, and keep Athena One and Phreesia updated for a smooth patient experience.

Experience in a medical office is preferred but training is available. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative, patient-centered work environment.

• Prepare front office for daily activities.
• Warmly greet patients, guests, vendors, and visitors
• Ensure that all patient paperwork, demographics, and insurance information is up to date and correct.
• Collects co-pay if necessary and issues receipt.
• Notifies physician office and/or clinic staff of patient arrivals.
• Maintains accurate and timely patient information in Athena One and Phreesia databases.
• Answer telephones and transfers caller to appropriate staff member
• Help create an extraordinary patient experience!

As one of the largest private group practices in the US, BBS is looking for a Patient Services Specialist to join our Location! In general, the Patient Services Specialist will:

• Prepare front office for daily activities.
