Job summary

Campbell Clinic Inc. in Germantown, TN is seeking a part-time Business Services Specialist Float to support patient scheduling and billing operations in the Physical Therapy department.

You will coordinate appointments (walk-in and by phone), manage the phone system, assist therapists, collect co-pays, enter charges, and verify insurance coverage to ensure smooth patient care.

This role requires a high school diploma, prior PT office experience preferred, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in a physical therapy office preferred.
• Must be computer literate with basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for physical therapy (walk-in and by phone).
• Manage phone system and take messages for the Physical Therapist.
• Greet visitors and determine their needs and direct them accordingly.
• Enter patient intake forms and verify insurance coverage.
• Collect co-pays, co-insurance and other balances owed on account.
• Enter charges and reconcile payments; manage billing in Athena.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and cancel no-shows.
• Verify eligibility and patient benefits before appointments.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
