Campbell Clinic in Crossville, TN is seeking a Tier 1 PT Business Services Specialist to provide outstanding scheduling and front-desk support for physical therapy patients. You will liaise between patients and staff, manage calls, and help with insurance questions.

The role requires a high school diploma and familiarity with standard office software; prior physical therapy office experience is preferred. You’ll join a team offering comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in the operations of a physical therapy office preferred.
• Must be computer literate; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Schedules appointments related to physical therapy (walk-in and via phone).
• Manages phone system and assists therapist in taking messages.
• Greets visitors and patients and directs them appropriately.
• Entering patient intake forms.
• Communicates with patients regarding insurance coverage and financial responsibility.
• Collects co-pay, co-insurance and other balances owed.
• Prints billing slip for therapist to mark services performed.
• Schedules follow-ups and cancels no-show appointments.
• Enters charges and reconciles payments.
• Maintains Athena buckets and ensures claims are in drop status at charge entry.
• Verifies daily that all billing slips are submitted.
