UW Medical Center - Northwest's Surgical Services and Hernia Center in Seattle seeks a Patient Services Specialist 2 to join our team. This 40-hour-per-week, day-shift role supports staff, providers and patients through efficient communications and scheduling within our Meridian Pavilion location.

Responsibilities include handling call triage, scheduling, collecting demographic/financial information, and partnering with the clinic team to deliver exceptional care.

Competenze

• High school graduation or equivalent AND
• One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience
• OR
• An equivalent combination of education/experience
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

Mansioni

• Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging
• Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments
• Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information
• Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery
• Other duties as requested
