Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative for Perrysburg Village Square to provide front-line patient registration, demographics verification, insurance card collection, and scheduling assistance. You will deliver excellent customer service and support multiple practice locations as needed.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to explain financial options to patients while maintaining accurate medical records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in patient registration/healthcare preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact between patients and physician practices.
• Greet patients and provide respectful customer service.
• Schedule appointments and enter scheduling information accurately in our systems.
• Verify demographics and insurance information during registration.
• Assist with documentation and basic registrations, including RX benefit checks.
• Obtain referrals and pre-certifications when applicable.
• Reconcile cash drawer and collect patient payments as needed.
