Job summary

Mercy Health in the Toledo area seeks a Patient Services Representative to be the first point of contact for patients and the community. You will register patients, verify demographics, collect insurance information, and ensure accurate records while delivering friendly, efficient service.

You will schedule appointments, assist with MyChart access and referrals, and support across multiple practices as needed, maintaining compliance and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills are required.
• Prior experience in patient registration/healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary point of contact between patients and physician practices.
• Registers patients, verifies demographics, and collects insurance information.
• Schedules appointments and enters information into the scheduling system.
• Explains financial options to patients and assists with MyChart access as needed.
• Resolves issues promptly to maintain patient flow and quality service.
