Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative for the St. Charles Medical Office Building. You will be the first point of contact, handling patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and explaining financial options to patients.

The role requires strong communication, accuracy in maintaining medical records, and collaboration across departments. Occasional coverage at other physician practices may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in patient registration/healthcare is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary point of contact between patients and physician practices.
• Greet patients and the community with respect and provide excellent customer service.
• Schedule appointments and process patient registration and insurance verification.
• Explain financial options to patients and assist with billing as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage referrals and scheduling as required.
