Job summary

Klamath Orthopedic Clinic is seeking a dynamic Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients and the public. You will handle scheduling, demographic updates, insurance information, and copays while ensuring HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of customer service experience, a High school diploma or GED (associate or bachelor’s preferred), and the ability to navigate multiple data systems to research and enter patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree a plus.
• 1 year of customer service experience required.
• Experience in a medical office setting preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and be the first point of contact for patients and the public.
• Navigate multiple data systems to document patient information into EHR and other platforms.
• Operate multi-line phone system and route calls, schedule appointments, and collect patient demographics and insurance details.
• Update patient demographics and insurance information; collect copays and payments as appropriate.
• Coordinate with providers and staff to ensure accurate scheduling and visit preparedness.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and clinic policies; attend department meetings as needed.
