Job summary

The Surgical Clinic (TSC) is a premier multi-specialty surgical practice in Middle Tennessee. We seek a Patient Services Coordinator to support registration, scheduling, and insurance verification while ensuring excellent patient service and clinic efficiency.

Responsibilities include check-in/out, collecting co-pays, coordinating with physicians, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records. The role requires strong communication, organization, and computer skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED is required.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional office with customer service required.
• Electronic Medical Records experience preferred or within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Register and schedule patients; manage reception and scheduling functions.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance; collect co-pays and payments.
• Answer multi-line phone system courteously and relay information.
• Greet and check in patients and visitors; ensure efficient patient flow.
• Prepare the EMR for provider visits and follow-up on missed appointments.
