Job summary

• CRT/PC experience in a customer service setting.
• Familiarity with eClinicalWorks scheduling module is preferred.
• Clear communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience handling calls related to referrals, appointments, and billing.

Responsibilities

• Greets and registers patients in the EMR, verifying billing and demographics.
• Coordinates scheduling of patient appointments accurately and efficiently.
• Answers multiple lines, routing calls to the appropriate recipient.
• Manages communications via pagers, faxes, and emails per protocol.
• Resolves questions about referrals, billing, services, and test results.
• Notifies care areas and ensures timely patient flow and waiting room management.
