Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in South Jersey seeks a front desk patient services representative to ensure quality patient scheduling, friendly telephone etiquette and strong customer service as part of our mission.

You will greet and register patients, schedule visits, collect copays, and provide general information; NAHAM CHAA certification is preferred, Epic experience valued, and excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of registration or billing experience in a medical facility.
• Proficiency in patient registration, scheduling, insurance pre-certifications, authorizations and referrals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register and schedule patients; provide information to patients and families.
• Collect point-of-service copays and explain processes using AIDET.
• Serve as front line contact during discharge coordination where applicable.
