Optum is seeking a Patient Services Representative to join our team in New Albany, IN. You will work in a collaborative office with other medical professionals and support primary care operations.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, checking in, scheduling, handling medical records, and assisting with checkout processes. A High School diploma and 1+ year healthcare or customer service experience are required; EMR and medical terminology knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in healthcare or customer service.
• Knowledge of EMR software and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage wait times.
• Assist with checkout and document copying.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Manage and file medical records (scans/files).
• Process requests for medical records release and maintain logs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
