Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 1 year medical office experience desired.
• Maintains confidentiality; adheres to HIPAA guidelines.
• Must complete required e-learning courses within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answers calls, assesses patient needs, takes messages, and schedules appointments.
• Works closely with clinical staff and other departments to coordinate care.
• Ensures accuracy of insurance, demographics, and eligibility in the system.
• Schedules infusion room appointments and enters orders as directed by MD.
• Submits pre-authorization tasks and referrals and provides appointment details to patients.
