Qualifications

• Two years as a medical receptionist or two years in customer service.
• One year data lookup/entry on computer systems.
• One year customer service experience by phone or in person in last five years.
• Ability to stay organized under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with professionalism and collect current financial and demographic information.
• Schedule appointments and manage check-in and co-pay administration.
• Verify insurance eligibility and register patients accurately.
• Coordinate specialty appointments and communicate wait times diplomatically.
• Maintain appointment schedules and support clinic clerical duties as needed.
• Ensure effective communication within the clinic and with the Appointment Center.
